About The Preschool Playhouse

 Hi, I'm Jessica Mecham, owner and provider of The Preschool Playhouse.

For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of caring for and educating young children in my home. What began as a passion for working with children has grown into a lifelong career dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels loved, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah, maintain a current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and am currently TOP Star Endorsed. I believe that combining years of hands-on experience with a strong educational foundation and a commitment to ongoing professional development allows me to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for every child.

At The Preschool Playhouse, I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. My goal is to create a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, build friendships, and develop confidence as they learn and grow.

I understand that choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions a family can make. I consider it a true privilege to be part of each child's early years and am committed to building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
