Welcome to The Preschool Playhouse

At The Preschool Playhouse, I believe children learn best through meaningful play, caring relationships, and hands-on experiences. My program combines the warmth and comfort of a home environment with intentional learning opportunities that encourage children to explore, discover, and grow every day.

I provide care for infants through preschool-aged children in a small-group setting where each child receives individualized attention, encouragement, and support. By keeping my program small, I am able to build strong relationships with each child and tailor activities to meet their unique interests, abilities, and developmental needs.

Every day includes a balance of structured learning, child-led exploration, outdoor play, creative activities, and opportunities to practice important social and emotional skills. Children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, build friendships, and develop confidence while learning through play.

Children thrive in a warm, welcoming environment where they feel safe, loved, and respected. My goal is to create a place where every child feels a sense of belonging from the moment they walk through the door.

Play is the foundation of early childhood learning. Through hands-on activities, children develop language, early math, literacy, science, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while having fun.

Every child develops at their own pace. I take the time to get to know each child's personality, interests, and developmental needs so I can provide experiences that help them succeed.

Children of different ages learn from one another every day. Younger children gain confidence by observing older peers, while older children develop leadership, patience, and empathy by helping younger friends.

Building confidence, kindness, self-control, and healthy relationships is just as important as learning letters and numbers. Throughout the day, children are encouraged to express their feelings, solve problems, work together, and develop the social-emotional skills they will use throughout life.

I believe children are most successful when families and caregivers work together. Open communication, mutual respect, and a strong partnership help create a positive experience for every child. My ultimate goal is to provide more than childcare. I strive to create a place where children feel valued, families feel supported, and learning happens naturally through joyful experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning. 

The Preschool Playhouse is located in a safe, welcoming neighborhood where children can learn, play, and grow in a comfortable home environment. My home is thoughtfully arranged with inviting learning and play spaces that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration.

Children enjoy daily opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play using a variety of age-appropriate materials and equipment that support learning through play. I take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and nurturing environment where children feel secure, valued, and confident to explore the world around them.
